Aloha,
a bit of progress to report from the last few days.
Made lots of saw dust.
The station entrance on the far side is now fitted and leveled.
The gradient has also been sorted.
Now I just need to lay the track and connect power.

Started building a frame.
Cut out a new piece from the better plywood and temporally mounted this all today.
Placed my bar chair to get a feel where I will sit to control everything.
I plan to hang the control panel from this piece of fascia.

Hi everybody,

Friday night update.
Continued with the frame work a bit today and have now leveled this station part on the threaded rods.
Next I will secure this and then I will have to see how I can make and mount the center piece.

Saturday afternoon update.
 :)
Client phoned me in the morning that he won't be able to come and see me so I
phoned Evert to ask him if he could help me.
Yes of course was his answer.
So the center piece of plywood was laid into position so that the cuts could be marked.

brought it back inside.
I wanted to open a bottle of champagne, perfect fit.

Hi everybody,
still did a bit last night and this afternoon.
Started marking out the track center lines and was trying to figure out how to get the nice big
radius curves in the station.
Nothing gave me a reasonably smooth curve, as I don't have anything to mount a center for a
string or long wood strip compass this gave me a few more gray hairs.
I finally came up with a wooden strip that I had hanging in the garage and mounted this on the
center line on one side and then carefully curved it to the other side and secured it.
Then I traced it with a pencil.
I think this curve will work for me.
Don't know what radius it is.
