Good evening everybody,

I was reminded to post some pics and herewith the latest ones.

It has been hot the last few weeks so the going was slow.

Remember the inspection lid we planned on the right hand side of the layout, the lid is now installed and functioning.

We used ordinary 120 degree cupboard hinges for the swing action and placed a handle on the inside.

We decided to place a vineyard on top of it.

Please note the snacks and coffee, they just kept on coming.  :D The research was intense as we knew nothing about constructing a vineyard.

With the placement of the small wine tasting area overlooking the vines, (to be), we placed the uprights to hold the wires to secure the vine plants.

More to come shortly..... ;)

Cheers for now,

ColWer

How can you have coffee when building a vineyard?
A glass of wine would be more appropriate.   ;D

1. To insure work is up to standard = no wine (taste horrible anyway)
2. Not sure that is coffee however...

Good day to everybody,

Thank you for the nice comments. No wine and that is coffee.

Some more pictures to show more detail.

Colleen did the stone wall embankment and the end result is just awesome.

We start planting the posts and placed the 45 degree stays as well. We had to go buy more glue at our stationary shop in the Mall.

All the posts got snipped to the correct height and then the whole lot got painted with dark brown earth paint.

As you can see the Noch Grassmaster Ver 1.0 is ready to produce the grass etc.

The models in the last pic is purely for placement. We got something exciting planned for that area.

Stay tuned.

Ciao

Hi there,

We are under "forced" lock down and those without a hobby well......  :'(.

In the mean time the vineyard is coming on great.

Some pictures to show the progress showing what the Noch Master Ver 1.0 can do.

The fertilizer is sawdust with brown dye colouring. That was fun to get it dry. But the stove worked great!

The steel wire to hold up the vines was a challenge. Big respect for doctors that do the close up stitches. The pulling tight and making the loop before the loop falls apart in your fingers, well that was great fun. That took an all nighter, almost.  :eek2:

The close ups shows more detail. You can almost smell the horse manure.

A friend of mine took some pictures and forward them to his wife and she is still convinced he is buying a winery.  :stir:

Hope you like them pics. More to come soon.  :D

Best regards
ColWer
