Hi all, during the testing times and during my "working at home spell" I still found some time with the vineyard.

With this feed-back I want to show how we made the grapes.  ;)

Strip and snip 5cm copper strands from the old two core flex.

Dip the one end of the single strand of copper wire into cold glue, approximately 3 - 4mm and then into a bowel of "hundreds and thousands" that was donated to me.

Yes I will return that I did not use.  ;)

For the grape we tried mustard seed and it was just not small enough. Sand looked very rough and settled using the "hundreds and thousands".

We made two batches of vine grapes and lost count at 300 I believe.

The following pictures will show a bit more.

Finding the correct shade of green was another challenge, but we got the right shade of green.

the pic below showed the result. Painting approximately 400 bunches of grapes took soooo loooong.  :o

We also made some "picked" grapes for the two trailers. A little bit of sneeze paper, cold glue and more "hundreds and thousands" did the trick.

See the pics below.

With the next feed-back We will show more progress.

Best regards

Ciao,
ColWer

Well done, that looks fantastic.
In memory of our late friend I hope that the two tractors puling those
trailers will be Porsche tractors.  :)

Hello dear Train Friends,

Another update my friends with the vineyard.

We placed the Restaurant. Placed the Park Lanterns for illumination for after sunset. Just could not resist the gentlemen on the bench with the missus just not impressed with him reading the newspaper.  >:(

Found a vintage wine press in our toolbox and could not resit to place it on the vineyard. Final placement to follow.

See pics below.

Here the safety railing to prevent damage to the vintage wine press.

It was a finnetjie job to glue the posts and railings together without glueing the fingers.

With the next posting I will show detail of the vineyard, grapes trailer, baskets and the people working in the vineyard.

Hope you like the pics.

Until next time.

Ciao
