Good evening all,
I've spent quite some time this weekend looking for the tracks for my narrow gauge line.
I want to have a small narrow line from my saw mill to the sidings for a loading scene.
I did find the flex track, but for the life of me can't find the box with switches and normal set track.  :bluduh: :-[
Well I did service the one loco and got out my Märklin Mini Club transformer and drove it up and down a bit.
Little diesel with 6 wood transport cars in first pic.
Second pic shows my rough idea for the track layout, I want to have two switch backs to make it more interesting
to operate.  :)
Switches will be manual as this will all be completely analogue.
Last pic show detail of track, bent sleepers and all.

That is very, very cool Jörg.
Going to look awesome and will make for an interesting dimension to the layout..... I like it.

Cheers, Evert

You are right, I only noticed my mistake after posting, so I left it to see if someone would
find it.

Hi all,
I still haven't found my narrow gauge switches and track. :bluduh:
So this weekend I was at the other side of the layout.
Loco service yard.
I decided on the placement of the inspection pit as the loco enters to get coaled, take water
and all other operations around the steam loco's.
Cut outs done and pits loosely fitted.

Nice, progress is good, even if it is just the placing of items and making decisions

Big moment, the first Loco has driven onto the turntable under its own
power.
Okay I had to help once or twice due to dirty track.

Hi all,
not much work has been done, but I've started placing items around the service area
to check for how it will all fit together.
This is what it looks like now, will leave this a few days and see how I like it.

Hi all,

been very quiet here. Done nothing on the layout just
enjoying running trains some evenings.
Well yesterday I visited the shop in Plumstead and came home with a few boxes of people.
Found this beautiful set, family having a picnic.
Sunshade is a bit low, will have to extend and then find a nice spot for this.

I try to stay clear of Plumstead - saving money if I do... :innocent:

Can't think of a time going there coming home empty handed... :eek2:

Hi all,

done a few detail things.
First was to try and get head and tail lights into my car system bus, but this has so far not been successful.  :(
Now for something different.
I recently bought a Preiser office desk set with people.
