Good morning all,

a bit of progress on my station.
The first passengers are waiting for their train in the waiting areas.

The restaurant is also taking shape.
Tables with table cloths are fitted, first few chairs as well.
The support column for the restaurant has also been made and fitted.

Hi all,
I've found a nice detail item among all my stuff, but its only one and a bit to small for the
tables.
I don't know where I got this. Also using this covers the table cloths.
But I did have a try to see how it looks.

This is the item separately.
Then I got the idea to use a razor blade and carefully slice the plates
off the base.
Well then I discovered that they aren't glued on but its molded as one part.

So how do I make circular discs to represent plates.
Well I look at my punch, used to file invoices and documents.
Take a few out and place them.
To big, these are slightly under 6 mm in diameter.
So now I need to find a way to make discs of about 3 mm diameter.
Any ideas?

Very Cool Jörg,

What about making it from clay? Not sure, I'm guessing here, I have not looks at my HO layout for a very long time.

Cheers, Evert

Track facing waiting room and control rooms are done.
Windows, frames and roof.
Note the posters on the walls and the pot plant.

Hi all,

thanks for the positive replies.
Tells me I'm on the right track.
Now while I'm waiting for some detail items for this project I have started the next project.
If you go back to page 99 of this thread you will see two building in my town with the same number
of levels, but the one is noticeably lower. While the street level shops are about the same height the
three upper levels are lower. So I've decided to change that.
Starting to dismantle the building.
First photo.
Second photo shows the wall extensions in place.
