Hi dear train friends,

The following pictures are showing the back right hand side of the layout depicting the Swiss chalets, Orchird, SBB Station and the Winery.

A lot of hours went into this, but the result I trust you will like.

The last picture was taken on a "panoramic" setting.

Hope you like it, until next time.

Stunning layout - very detailed. Even the pictures are stunning.

I have a feeling it will even be better in real life... :thumb:

Thank you everybody for the kind words. Appreciate it.

So the next project is the construction of the farm to the left of the layout. So many different topics.

Animals, fields, grazing, milking cows, chickens, tractors, horses, trees, access roads, rail crossing, fencing etc. etc.

Below the picture of where we are going to build.

Oh, and we stocked up on Cappucchino. Bit low on muffins. ;)

Until next time, Best regards.

Good day dear train friends,

Here an update on the farming.

As said before we did the planning first to see if everything will fit.

Then the outfields were staked and poles were planted and we did some wire pulling with cotton thread.

Anybody that has done/tried that is quite aware of the challenge. You successfully do the curling around 5 poles and then the last one slips off and as you try to recover they all uncurl in the process. That was fun.  ;)

Ok, and then we planted some grass with the static devise. First the 2.5mm and then the 6mm "grass" between the poles. That's where the lawnmower/tractor don't reach.

Looks like the two of you are having fun.  :thumb:
I don't want to nit pick, but that rock wall behind the farm house is a bit to green for my liking.

A very impressive layout, and a phenomenal work rate when compared to my own.

You must let me know where you get the muffins; there must be some CBD oil in them !

Thank you for the kind words. A lot of work with many Cappucchinos and "muffins".

Yes, its an extraordinary farm in the Black Forest! I had the privilege to visit the Black Forest.

The dark earth ground floor, rich foliage and green where ever you look. It was awesome in May.

Here some nice close ups.
