Very nice laser cut kit, I'm a bit worried about the hammer.
I hope that you did not need to use it for this kit.

I was just going to say the same... :stir: :peep:

Hi Werner,

One problem I noticed; on closer inspection the route guide map you installed does not match the topography of the area modelled.

Thanks guys for the complements. And Steve, ssshhhtt, don't tell the tourists.  ;) :D.

The story with the hammer. Some days nothing seems to work and that small part in your tweezer goes piiiinng in the opposite direction you thought it flew.

So, I now put my biggest hammer next to the project I am working on and nothing goes missing, really.  ;)

Stay safe guys.

Hallo dear train friends,

Found this "falling tree" in my cupboard and a lovely place to install it next to the vineyard.

The plastic box that will house the servo motor had to be made smaller to fit.

No problem, saw, file and trim and the servo fitted nice and snug.

Hi there, further to the falling tree.

Notice no hammer hey. A little birdie told me to test before assembly and close up, yes you guessed it. Not working.

So open it all up and start testing.

I found that the brand new item had a problem. The orange wire was pinched in the servo casing and after sorting that it all worked again.

Assembled again and still worked.  :D :D

Had to make a big hole to fit the new box and pull some wire through with the switch to activate and for good measure 16V AC.

I put some Noch grass carpet to cover the mechanism and for the final touch I "planted" some grass master grass.

Pity I can't post a video, but you will have to believe me. On request I can forward a short video.

But wait..... there's more...... ;)

I have a Viessmann e-motion Forester cutting down a tree. That needs to be installed with sound effects.  ;)

Have a great day.
