Good day to all,

We decided that the layout needs a bit of Swiss flair and so we added a hot air balloon.

Had fun putting this together and had to make very sure of NO glue smudges. 

But......

But, putting it up was the Big challenge.....

It did not fall down yet and the pic below shows the result.

Hi Evert, small update. 

Got this lovely station to be placed on the right hand side of the layout and started adding lights, telephone booth, signaller etc you need near a station.

The end result, not fully completed.

Need time table, water fountain and baggage and a few more passengers.

Hi there,

The station was a present from Wolfgang and it is placed on the layout with honour. I miss my friend very much and when looking at the station does bring back memories.

The lights will happen soon Jörg. A few more things at the station and I will post the pic.

Regarding the river - not sure, but if you are good with resin casting, go for it. Evert made it very believable.

Wow, the paint work on the river is awesome, well done Colleen 

Mmmmmm, I think you should yes, It needs the gloss and the ripples on top. It just give it that little bit extra. If you unsure, do a test piece. Resin is cheap R50 for 250ml at Builders.
