Good Morning All.....

I finally finished the fence between the Main Line and the Yard ...  What a BIG job. I really like the way it came out.

Then I'm having trouble with some track I added a while back (2018-10-01). I fitted a Medium Right Hand Turn out with a Small Crossing. (Picture 2)
Permanent derailments so I ripped it out and decided to fit a Long Crossing, but the spacing did not work so well, so I asked Ed for some input.
His first thought was yes definitely the long crossing, but then what about a double slip? Mmmmmmm..... brilliant, I do have one. Ed gave me a Insulfrog one but I decided to use the Electrofrog I had in my cupboard.
Fitted it wired it all up and wow, what a difference. Every loco runs so smooth, from the biggest to the smallest.

PS, track is sharp, don't cut your self, it burns like hell. Priers slipped and the track went through the bottom of me palm....

Any case, I'm happy with all my work for the long weekend.
Enjoy the week and speak again soon.
Cheers, Evert.

Before you finalize using the electrofrog, do try using the insulfrog if possible. I found them easier to use than the electrofrogs.
