Good Morning All,

Not a lot has happened on the train side the past week, but I did manage to fit the rocks and worked them off nicely.
They are ready for paint now  :thumb:, but unfortunately that will only happen in the next month or so.

Our house got sold and we have to move.  :( There is no houses available that we can afford and that can work for us, so we had to rent again and in a smaller place. So my layouts had to move to my parents house where they will be living for at least the next year.

So yea, thank you for all the comments and I'll be talking again in a month or two.

Cheers  :)

Sorry to hear you are packing. Know the feeling well.  :(

But hey, look at the bright side, more time to think of new ideas.

The next place will be better. ;D :thumb:

Cheers

Good Morning All,

It's been a very long time so here is some updates.
I started off doing some painting of the rocks on the mountain. Wow, the pant is from 4 years ago when I mixed it and painted the first layout. Paint still 100%... Very impressed.....

Then I also collected in the past 5 months or so quite a few buildings. Most is already built 2nd hand, but I will re-paint and fix them up. Round house is already done.
I also started on the hills where the castle will go as well as the forest I'm planning.

Buildings is basically in the places where they will go.

Enjoy the pix and lots more will follow now as I progress :)

Cheers.

Hi Evert,
looking great, I have one suggestion though.
Why don't you change the turnout that I have circled in red to a right hand one that is in the corner then making for a smother and more elegant line.
Also the siding will be a bit longer.

OK, thank you Jörg.
I will try that. It will mean that the outside line will be straight and the inside one will curve in correct? Should make the whole corner more smooth. Thank you.....  :thumb:

Thank you.

Good Morning All,

OK, so, I spent quite some time with my trains this weekend.
Got a few things done so I'm happy.

Made the point change Jörg suggested and it make such a big difference. Thank you  :thumb:
I also did some more landscaping and started to add the basic frame for the tunnel.

Then I was missing something..... The track underneath the Crane. It did not look right not having it, so I decided to make the change and added the track. Think it will work well and it will look awesome if there is coal wagons parked underneath.

Here is some more pictures.
Enjoy and have a good week.
Cheers.
