Its warm white, from Weinert.
Come with copper wires soldered on already and a 1 KΩ resistor.
Order number is 90346

Next step.  ;D
I'm enjoying this.
Instead of keeping the shape of the boiler and having small cast on sun shield for the cap front windows,
Märklin just made it on big casting.
In the first photo it shows what I all have to remove.
The white arrow points at the hand rail which is also going to be replaced.
Second photo with the new sun shields just on the old ones.
Last photo the sun shields on their own, of course the spruce must still be removed.

Then new smoke deflectors.
Lets see how I manage to mount these.

So first cut has been made, still needs a lot of cleaning which will need
to be done very carefully as I don't want to damage the body.
First photo just the cut, as far as I can get in with a small hacksaw.
Second photo with new sun shield placed loosely onto the opening.

Thanks Ed, I hope it works out the way I plan.
But I'm working of photos which are often at an angle so to judge the measurements
is rather tricky.

Good news then because no one will be able to know if it is wrong or not!  :thumb:

Haha, the problem is that it can easily look out of proportion.
So taking it slowly on this project.

Good evening everybody.
Tonight I spent some time filing.
The proof.

I have now removed the whole blob of casting around the boiler
and cap.
Was very careful to get the curve of the boiler as close as possible.
Quite happy with my work for tonight. :thumb:

Did you gring up something or did all those filings come from that one place
