Good Morning All,

Did some nice work over the weekend  :thumb:

I started working out what I want to do with the mountain, decided to build it in layers as it is so small.

Built it in a few sections.
Bottom Picture 01
Top Picture 02, part will also create the tunnel.
Picture 03 and 04 is the sides. These will also create the edge of the layout.

to be continued......

I also used the hot wire to cut the square edge off the Styrofoam, so there was literally no mess

Here is the sections all together, but nothing permanently fixed jet. I first want to paint the inside of the tunnel before I glue it all down.
I also still need to fins z scale tunnel portals some ware.....

Picture 01 and 02 is the mountain in place.

Picture 03 is the other side of the layout where I will start with the cloth and creatstone to finish it off tonight. So keep watching, I might post some pictures tomorrow.

Last picture is overview of the layout so far.

Cheers,
Evert  :thumb:

Good Morning All.

Small update, but I had a hour or so to work last night
Started with the creatstone on the bridge side of the layout and also did the section in front of the station.
I also managed to start gluing the mountain sections down.

Here is some pictures  :thumb:

Cheers and speak again soon.

Good Morning All,

OK, so last night I decided to take the leap and carve the brick pattern into the bridge I started to make. Must say. this was one project I was not looking forward to.

But I have to say, I'm very happy and impressed at the way it came out.
I used a hot pin to make the patterns.

To be continued......

Good Morning All,

So I worked a little bit more on the z  :thumb:
Picture 01 - Added some more finishes for the landscaping - painting is next.

On the mountain side, I needed 2 tunnel portals, but could not decide what I want and to buy from overseas again  ???
So I decided to make them my self  :)
Picture 02 - Cut out of Styrofoam 34mm dia arch and 34mm in height for the entrance.
Picture 03 - Painted black again and then grey over that.

I used cardboard to make the edge.

The mountain on the left I will still trim to show more of the portal, make it a bit more visible. Mountain is not fitted yet, I will first lay paint and lay the track.

Once the rocks and scenery is added I think the tunnel will look awesome.
Please let me know what you think.

Regards,
Evert Loo
