Good day everyone,

Below a small update as promised.

It's been a productive few weeks bringing a close to the construction of the small Locoyard that I started a few months ago.

Been playing around with camera settings. I trust you like it.

I tried the Panorama setting on my camera, I trust you will see the effect of part of the layout.

You can see the Station and the Town still needs to be constructed, but that is another story.

Next is the Railcrossing...... :thumb:

I constructed a Railcrossing as previously reported, but it was lacking something.

Yep, the Railcrossing light system (blinking) was missing.  ::)

So I built the electronics using a 555 timer with 3 outputs. The circuit has its own DC power supply.

It worked fine and tested it before installing.

Had to take numerous photos to get the the leds all on.

Now the wiring! Had lots of fun with this.  :biggrin:

The complete Locoyard, the Farm and the Switchhouse at the tunnel entrance consisted of 96 wires.

this was brought to the Power Supply Board under the Locoyard which will be covered by a Noch Styrofoam wall for easy removing should there be a need to check why it is still working. ::)

A lot of wires in 1m space so I had to make a small jig to keep the wires untangled.

Surprisingly it did go fairly well.  ;)

Some more wiring done. It did happen over a weekend.

The last picture shows the end result when the looming was completed with the labelling.

There was a request for a night shoot. It did happen. But not not easy with all the lighting close up.

Played around with the shutter speed, but see the results for yourself.

I can assure you standing in front of the layout is a 100 times better than the pictures itself.
