Looks good what the two of you are getting up to there. :thumb:
Just consider that oil stains tend to be a bit shiny, so don't make everything completely matt.

Hi there dear Train Friends,

Found an interesting video of the BR 01 0519 work up and noticed that there is a connecting walk way across the pit in the Loco shed.

Pretty much what I have across my pit.  ;)

Interesting for 3 railers......  :thumb: :biggrin:

Hi Everybody,

Modelbuilding is progressing slowly but surely.

From the first pic you will see that the ground level needs edging and out came the circular saw, wood and made lots of sawdust.

Cut the pine lengths in a C shape and needed a lot of fitting. Countless walks to the garage.

The plain pine needed some grooves as concrete is not thrown in one go.

More sanding and then primer.

Placed some brick and steel fencing just to see how it looks.

Good day Gentlemen,

It was a quiet weekend, but small things did happen.

the first pic shows the right hand side with only white wash and on the left with a dirty wash.

The camera is way to close, however from a distance the effect is showing nicely.

Nothing glued down yet. First have to black wash the concrete blocks and once bricks and bars glued down some brown wash to show dirty and rain water stripes.

Some green for moss effects.

Hallo everybody,

it's been awhile I know  :innocent:, however progress was made.  :D

The first picture shows how it all started in the Betriebswerk (Locomotive depot) a few months ago. Sorry I checked it is exactly 11 months ago.  ::)

The second picture is how it looks now. So much happening there.
