Trust you had a great weekend. Just a small update.
The farm needs a rail crossing and so looking at simple crossings we came up with this idea. space at the farm is an issue.
The pole was a 2.8mm aluminium pipe which was cut, primed and painted white.
Then with Yamiya 6mm tape I ringed off the sections I did not want to paint.
Then with the airbrush I painted the rings red.
Made the resting pods for the poles also from 2,8mm alu pipe and then soldered the Y pieces which was then sprayed grey.
The box to hold the mechanism and pole was made from polystyrene 1mm.
