Hope that this is the right place for a question.
Can we load pics dirrectly to the forum and if so what is the max size allowed.

in general it would be better if you upload the image to something like photobucket, and link it inline using the image icon (1st icon on the 2nd row)  it creates 2 tags for you  [ img ]  and [ /img ]   you place your image link where I placed the 'and'   this will place an image like this...   if I pasted the link (without all the spaces in the bold bits...

This is something that I am aware of and have opened a photobucket account years ago, but seeing that I'm a computer dumy I can't even find the link. :lamer:

Okay I have been trying some more.
Loaded my layout design to photobucket and I now see 4 links.
1st  Email & IM
2nd  Direct
3rd  HTML
4th  IMG
So which of these do I use?
If I click on one of these it tells me " copied" , but where does that copy go???

Other question, if we post photo's via a host like photobucket can the pics be larger than the 128kb?

Good Morning.

No question is stupid  :) It's the only way we learn.

I used the Direct option. It seems to be working well.
First you have to click on the Insert Image button here above. first icon second row. It will insert [ img ] [ /img ]

Then you go to your photobucket page and click on the Direct link. It will say Copied. It goes to your clipboard on your PC. Don't worry if you can not see it, it is there, I promise  ;D

Then click between the two img tags and on with your mouse Right Click and click Paste.

Oh and yes, your pictures can be bigger then and you will not be limmited to only 4 images per blog.

And your picture should display  :biggrin:

Jörg, one more advantage of going the bucket route. When you do a post, you can now add a pic and then some more writing and another pic and more writing...you get the drift. Normally if you attach pictures they will be at the end only.

Yes, I am busy getting the hang of it.
Managed to get my track plans loaded up.
Will correct the other pics that I loaded directly later with bigger ones.

Do be careful with too big pictures too - they then stretch the page to hell and gone.
