Ok guys, just a little poll for interest sake...

It is a 2 part poll, so please select 2 answers - One from each section...

Question 1:   What percentage of your fleet has a DCC (or other) decoder fitted.  If you run Marklin Digital you are also included in this...
Question 2:   How big is your fleet of locomotives.  It does not matter if  the locos are DCC equipped or not...  just how many you have.  Yes, the choices are a little broad, but it is just to get a feel for what is happening out there...

thanx

This is an interesting poll.  It would give a rough indication of what's going on out there

Cheers,

Niel

I've got some 45 Loco's of which about 90% are Digital, all Loco's except my dual motor Santa Fe have Märklin decoders, the Santa Fe is fitted with a ESU Loksound V 3.5
Some of my Loco's will remain analog and will never run on my layout.

Don't worry Ed,  I almost got it wrong as well.  When in doubt read the instructions twice :-\

I managed to vote twice but since 6 of my locomotives are actually dmu's with a decoder at each end, are the figures going to be distorted. Oh, and incidently, I have a spare still in its packet for when the Dapol class 33 finally arrives !

And if you leave them in the dark a little longer, they will have MORE little baby decoders...

Hmmm, Having decoders that need locos is a nice spin that we don't see often.  But having loco that needs a decoder is no fun.

As for baby decoders.  Are you feeding you decoders the right stuff?  A poor diet of dirty track and lack of exercise often lead to decoders not.... Oh who am I kidding  :loco:.

Cheers,

Niel
