I clicked on reply wanting to write that I like the base for the castle
and in that time you already posted more pictures of the castle.
That looks fantastic, well done.

Hello All...... OK, so I have not been updating this layout  :biggrin:

Starting to get finished very quickly now......
LOADS of work have been done.....

I built the Cathedral...... What a kit  :eek: Love building it.....

Two small little "farm" houses was also finished and I'm busy with the Trees at the moment.

Enjoy all the pictures  :biggrin:

Love the night time shots.
But I think that the cathedral over powers this small layout.
Maybe the station is also a bit to large.
Maybe, just an idea use these on the big layout.

Yes Jörg, I 100% agree with you, but this is what the guy wanted, so it is what I have built.
Personally I would have chosen very different buildings for this layout, and I would have built it as a mountain scene with the Castle in the back ground.

So.....

Some more trees were added, 60 pine in total now and 24 smaller trees.
I also added the level crossing.

The Guy I'm building this for wanted snow on the layout. He gave me quite a few white pine trees, but I thought they are to white so left them out.
I did some light snow on a part of the Castle and surroundings, nothing hectic, because you just loose the detail with all the white. What do you guys think.

There is a Watertower for the Yard and some other small Details still on a plane some ware, but this layout is comming to a finish very soon.

Also not a fan of snow, but I can tell you this - it's a crowd puller at the shows as it's not seen that much. Which reminds me - I still have that Noch Z scale snow layout to sell... :innocent:

Last update on this Layout. It was finished and Delivered to the Owner.
He is extremely happy with it and the trains run extremely well.
