Hi voltages and big amps can cause quite a spectacle.
I guess dirty overhead line don't help either.

HI, amazing all the other electronics in the rest of the loko control systems survive those harsh electrical surges and interference.

I see Metro doing some fire works at 2:27... :loco:

Hannes - there should be many breakers in the system to protect against this. I do suspect the Metro car had the wire earthed via the carriage and then it was supposed to trip by the substation I would have thought. :eek2:
