Faller B-148 coaling station, my attempt to build a working model.

Hi everybody,
today I will only show you two photos of a few parts of my new project.
It will remain a mystery for a while, lets see who can guess what I'm up to now.  >:D
Lots of brass material.
Second photo shows me starting to mill the one part.
More photos to follow soon.

But I think the wheels fit in 1 and 2 ?
So then it is some sort of wagon or Railcar I guess......

Okay some progress has been made.  :thumb:
I realized that gluing plastic to brass would not be very strong and durable, so I made little plates
that fit onto the four legs of the gantry crane that I could solder to the brass.
Photo one shows two of them.
Second photo all soldered together.

First brass base now glued to the plastic frame, note the wire which will be used for the decoder in the cabin
of the crane.
The other side will get the other wire to complete the circuit.
This I will now leave in the clamp for some time as the glue sets properly.
Hopefully the plastic to brass joint will last for a while.
