Hi Evert,
you will never get two of the same signals so close to each other.
The one with the red arrow is incorrect, as this signal would also cause the driver to possibly stop on a switch which
is not permitted.
There is even a small sign that denotes the closest that a loco or coach my stand to a switch.

Thank you very much Jörg.
How would this then be handled? Will both points be indicated with the same signal then?

Thank you, speak again soon.
Cheers, Evert.

Hi Evert,

I'm trying to figure out how your trains will run on this layout.
Do you have the first signal together with the two switches?
Then the signal with my red arrow with the switch after that?

I will post a picture with better view of the Points and the Signals that I have attached to each point.
Thank you  :thumb:

Very small layout update.....

I received my Control Panel in the week
I fitted all the switches so now I have to do all the wiring.
I still have to go and buy the LED's for the panel.

Cheers, Evert

Hello again......

I started with the Platform Canopies today.
Kibri set and it come with a glass roof and loads of details.

So I painted the structure dark grey with a black wash.
The glass, I have coloured the trimming between each pane with dark grey marker.

Next step is to fins small LED's and add some lighting.

Cheers, Evert.

Hi Evert,
may I ask how you are going to fit small Led's under the platform canopy's if you have already fitted them to the layout?
Otherwise its looking very good.

Hello Jörg.....
Platform canopy's is not fitted jet, I just positioned them to cut the holes in the platform where they will fit.

I found small SMD LED's at Yebo Electronics, so will fit those.
And all the canopy parts is hollow, so I can hide the wires nicely

Cheers, Evert

With that clamp there it looked like you are waiting for the glue to dry.
For the Led's, you can connect five in series with one resistor, then you have less heat loss over the resistor.
If you need some tips on how to do it you know where I am.

Good Afternoon All.

So I decided to get SMD LED001 from Yebo Electronics.
They are super small, but I will work and they look good size wize.

Picture one is the LED on the ctrl key of my laptop.
I also got some very thin wire from a friend and it really worked well.

Then how to make some sort of cover for the LED??
I took one of the left over plastic from the kit and I drilled a 1mm hole through it. Then with my countersink I made a 6mm countersunk hole.

If I placed the LED in the hole and fill it with woodglue it will look like a cover.....

I this is what I did.
Soldered the wire to the LED, that was a mission, it is REALLY small.
Fed the wire through the 1mm hole and poured some woodglue into the hole. Then I left it to dry 100%. Took one day to make one light  ???

And I have 4 lights per Platform Canopy......

Soldering these Led's is tricky.
Double sided tape is costly, take a piece of scrap wood and with a stapler secure a piece of masking tape
sticky side up, then you can stick the Led down with the contacts up and solder easily.
Instead of wood glue you could also use clear prately glue, sets much quicker.
I like your idea for the light cover.  :thumb:
