Yes Jörg I agree. Very nice!  :thumb:

Great work Evert. You know what I really like is the Legos used to ensure 90 degree corners. What a great idea!

Well done Evert!  :thumb:

Hi Evert, after following the progress of your really super project I had an idea to make a very low key Display Track.

Not as smart as yours, but practical.

I did a trial with my Grassmaker with 6mm "grass" fibres.

See the pics below.

Starting to understand the "grass" maker I took a piece of chip board and cut it into a rectangle.

Placed a piece of track on the wood and glued the ballast with cold glue / water mix and left to dry.

Unfortunately no pictures of the making of said display board.

I then put Heki Styropor imbossed with a wall motive around said display board and "planted" the 6mm "grass'.

Let it settle for 20 minutes and vacuumed the excess fibres for later use.

Below pictures of the end result of the Display Track.

I placed the display track on the layout to make use of the layout as the background.

Two days of fun whilst waiting for the glue and paint to dry on the layout.

WOW Werner.....  :thumb:
I like that..... The edge using the stone is a brilliant idea.

I still want to get myself a Static Grass applicator, but no stock in South Africa at the moment.
I want to add some 2mm to the z and 4mm to my N Layout. Will make some awesome effects and give more interest to the layout.

Thank you for sharing
Cheers, Evert

Hi Evert, did you consider making one?

I have a circuit diagram or you could follow Luke Towan on Youtube.

Dream Trains makes and sells a grass app.

I believe he's out of stock at the moment.  But I'll confirm.

For confirmation:  They are currently out of stock and waiting for parts.
