SAR layout in progress - 2019 report

Me and a bunch of similar reprobates went to visit a layout in Kuilsrivier. Blackie Swart and his gracious wife entertained us for 2.5 hours and we spent most of it ogling this amazing layout in progress - few facts:

- room size 84 sq/m extra height.
- full aircon and dust control (this helps reliability and performance but then, we know this)
- 3 levels
- I forgot the total length - maybe someone else can fill that in
- DC controlled

Also, he can run 4 trains simultaneously. The signals work and if they are red, the train WILL stop there.

Performance are top notch!

Hello All,

What a Awesome layout, but there is still LOADS of work to do.
Atleast most of the track is done and trains can run so that is awesome  :biggrin:
