Hi all,

Just joined this forum now. I am Johan De Graaf from  Garsfontein in Pretoria.

I started with model trains when I was a young boy and I received an HO scale Blue train set for my.one birthday. My neighbours had a massive railroad scale set in N scale. I left the trains hobby just after school and went into radio controlled aircraft. I have a  collection of bi-planes and have a hobby room where I build my aircraft.

I have recently decided to look into getting back into trains as the effort to.load the aircraft, drive to a flying club, wait for your turn to fly, and then bringing everything home again is becoming tiresome. I would much rather spend more time at home.

Yes, welcome. We are here to help.  :howzit:

In your neck of the woods are quite active model train groups/clubs. Shout if you want more info/links/etc.
