Got a bit further with the steps to the signal tower.

Also spent a bit of time on the underpass.
Its been painted, I did try to give it some surface rust, but that did not work
that well.
Also fitted three Led's.
Its now loosely fitted in place, will try and get it lined
up properly now and then secure it.
Then I will fit the pillars and a railing between these pillars so that the pedestrians
don't fall onto the road.

Hello Jörg......

That underpass is going to look great.......
The rust effect, I would have used a sponge (small piece) little bit of paint......
Then you almost dry brush it on with the sponge, you will get a spotted effect.

Cool, have fun, but it is really looking great !!!!!!

Then I have started designing the control panel.
First preliminary drawings and placing of controllers.
Currently its a bit difficult to complete this as I have not yet
finalized the loco yard with turntable.
But I have to somehow get the control panel functional to get the signal
system to function before I ballast all the track in the station.
Now I can still change things if needed.

Not really, had my second covid shot on Friday and had quite a lot of pain all over
my body.

Front arch for the underpass got its first coat of paint today.
I also connected the three Led's.
You should also notice that I have in the meantime fitted most of the pillars as well.

Hi everybody,
small end of weekend update.
Decided to concentrate on the rear mainline so that this can get done.
Finished the ballasting and started the ground cover on the front strip.
Also busy with some detail and flowers.
Then I need to complete the overhead system.
First photo with the track covered for the static grass application.
Second photo shows the first layer of grass on the recently done scenery along the rear part.

Aloha,
late Sunday night update.
So the last few days I've spent quite a bit of time on completing the catenery along the back section
of the layout.
Nearly completed now, test drives with the pick up in contact with the catenery have been successful.  :thumb:
Now I need to clean all the solder joints and then paint it light grey.

I've also been busy with the one building that I started recently,
you may remember that I built this in an angle, but now I did not have enough
roof material.
Well this arrived last week so I got busy.
First finish the lighting.
One Led in the shop.
Three Led strip under the roof.
For this I made a bracket and glued the Led strip to this.
Secured two U channels to the walls and now this light hangs at the top.
I also placed some black masking paper behind a few windows so that not all lights are on.
