Update time.
The big mess has been made, a bit extra plaster applied here and there and lots of carving.
Two coats of grey water based paint applied as well.

I purposely made the steps very rough and uneven, after all in 1400 something when this castle was
built they didn't have prefab concrete steps yet.  >:D

This photo just shows the other side of the castle.
Now I need to use very thin black paint to bring out the crevasses, will do that tomorrow
and then dry brush white over the rocks.

Hi everybody,
small update from me with a few photo's.
A bit more time spent with paint, also made a little hiking trail around the castle.
Small wooden bridge, still needs a railing.

Also did the wall next to the tracks approaching the castle.

Planted some grass as well.  ;)

Overall view of the castle section now, note the different colours on the castle itself,
I am trying to weather it slightly, not an easy task with it fully assembled, but I'm sure
I will get it looking neat.

Decided to fit the first bridge and lay some track. :thumb:
Flex track so that you can't see where the straight piece becomes a corner.
Flowing nice and gently into the turn.

Enjoy.

On a more serious note,
some more grass has been planted around the castle.

Lets see what the weekend brings.
