I love the look you have there. 

Just one thought - you have smooth / round rocks. In nature those rocks would be mostly angular. Maybe take those rocks and whack them with a hammer...?

Rocks in rivers are very often rounded and smooth through the water flowing over them for thousands of years.
That is why I used these, but will think about it some more.

True, but mostly the smaller stones. Big rocks are more angular. Then again, it's your layout and it looks good. I love what you did with the paint...

I saw that as well.
I have found some photo's of the real house on the net as well.
Since I can remember as a kid I always liked that Faller house so when I could get one I bought it immediately.

It's an awesome house for the early sixties. My late Dad had it on his layout.

No update for a long time. 
But now I had a bit of time over the weekend and on Monday so here are a few photo's.
I made a Perspex front cover to finish of the river and so that the water does not run out.

Slowly started adding some green around the river.

Some sand as well.

Hopefully I'll be able to post more updates in the near future.
