And the new "road" thru the camping site is much more real then before.

Thank you.
Now I know I'm on the right path.
So today I refitted the section into the layout just to see how its all coming together.
Off course out came the camera. ;)
Some of the latest photos.

Took a while to trick the camera not to focus on the bridge.

Today I also spent some time with light grey paint to paint
the centenary wires, no more shiny silver wires and also makes
them nearly disappear.

Aloha,
did something a bit different this weekend.
This section has been bothering me since I discovered that I had made a mistake during planning.
In my original plan the front two track that are slightly lower should have been underneath the others.
But when I built this section I discovered my mistake.

My plan was to have this section in a tunnel, but I don't think it would have looked realistic.
Had a visit from trainmaster last week and we discussed this section.
He encouraged me to make a short section visible so I cast a tunnel portal and modified it
today to fit.
Then I will have a wall between the two layers and that should look quite nice.

Very nice  :thumb:

Yes, a wall between the two height differences will work very well. I like the idea

Enjoy.

Hi,
today was Christmas in April for me. ;D
Package arrived from Germany.
One of the items that I had ordered was a Campfire Scene by Busch.
I had forgotten about this when I had built my braai, but then I remembered and
did not build anymore braais till this one arrived.
Unpacked it and connected it up.
Pic of the two next to each other.
My wife likes mine more.
I think that the Busch one is to big.

Good Morning Jörg,

Mmmmmmm, the Busch one is very nice but it does look a little bit to big.
Scale it and see what you end up with, then you can decide.

Cheers,
Evert
