After a nice relaxing Sunday I have another small update.
I want to have a sunken boat in my lake so I decided to take a little rowing boat from
Preiser and age it a bit, but mostly recreate the broken planks in the side from hitting a rock or iceberg.  ;)
Boat as it was.

Hole cut in the side, it was not easy to make the hole irregular.
Add some brown paint.

I don't like to brag, but I think that came out quite good.  :thumb:

My river with rapids also got some attention today.
Woodlands Scenics water effects was used to try and model some white water.
The results will only be visible one it has set after about 24 hours.
The suspense and waiting is the worst.
I watched some video's on the net how to do this. One step is to lay strips of water effects
on some wax paper or plastic.
This is after I peeled it off.

Application.
Done, now to wait and see how it turns out.

Update is looking really great  :thumb:
And yes, that little boat came out really awesome.
The rapids in the river also looks good, I'm sure it will be perfect once it is all dried.

Small update again.
Spent a bit more time on the river and rapids.
This is how it looks now, will not be that visible anyway later due to the bridge
over the river.

I consider that section to be more or less complete now so I fitted the rear most
bridge and the track.
Photo shows first test Loco on the bridge.  :thumb:

Next up is the 1250mm radius curve after the bridge.
