Aloha,
small update.
Busy with the wall at the front of the layout. Still need to match the
colors of the different materials.
But I think you get the idea.

Very, Very Nice Jörg, looks great......
One thing I did not do with my wall was to fit lights inside the buildings...... Will have to change that one day

Happy New Year all.
May it be a wonderful year with lots of trains in the future.
Small update on my layout.
I'm trying to match the colors of different materials on the wall.
Taped up everything and used some Tamiya model spray paint.
I'm not happy with the result yet.

Hi everyone, Happy New Year,
I think the colour is fine, now just the weathering. Lots of shades will do the trick of an aged town.
Really looking great.

Hi all,
have removed some of the masking paper and loosely placed
the shop fronts into the openings just to get a impression of
how this will look.

Hey Jörg,
From the pictures the colour looks quite good.
But yes, like Werner said, lots of weathering and painting still..... Will make a huge difference.
Cheers, Evert.

Hi Evert,
yes on the picture it does look quite okay.
The problem is that in real you notice the difference in materials quite a lot.
The arches are plastic while the rest of the wall quarz sand.

Well in the meantime I've also been busy with my control panel.
Yesterday I started turning a sheet of perspex into a Swiss cheese.

After cleaning I started to apply the masking before the paint.
I must still finish the design of the loco depot with turntable.
Today I plan to build the frame.
