I would still do the platform at the back, some parking and access for passengers
wanting to board the trains from that side.
Maybe I'll also find the place for a small open air market.
The bus stop behind the original station building is very cramped.
When the building is there and the bus does the 180° turn it actually touches the
steps of the station.
So if I build the station there I would have to reduce the width of the building slightly.
These are just ideas and thoughts for now, let me know what you think.

Hi,
thank you for the positive feed back on the idea of having the station at the front.
Will see how I can do this, but I also like this idea more and more.

In real life we mostly see the back end of a station - I consider the train side as the front... :innocent:

Aloha,
not much has happened here, but I have fitted and set up the 7 servo's
for the Southern Station entrance.
Then I've spent some time on the station platforms and steps going down to street level.

And I cut and fitted a wooden base for the shop fronts under the station.

Hi all,
I've spent some time with the steps, the passengers need a handrail so I gave them
one.
0.5 mm brass rod.
Bent some eyes which are glued into holes drilled into the wall and the handrail
is inserted into this.
A bit of grey paint and I think it will look great.
Some loose parts.

I have also fitted two small Led's at the base of the steps to give some light in the passage
way, but unfortunately the photo didn't come out properly.
Will try again.

Aloha,
steps got their final paint and the handrails as well.
First two photos.
Last photo installed in the platform.
I'm happy how this turned out.  :thumb:

This is where it goes.
Second wall in the underpass, with the steps coming out from the platforms.
My initial idea was to have two separate set of steps, but then I decided to just have one.
So somewhere underground the two merge into one.
off course when it was nearly completed it slipped out of my hand and I ended up with two
walls.  ::)
Oh well glued back together, only evidence is the white lines in the brick wall.
