Old news - been seeing that for ages...

Trains magazines of the late 1990's had some pictures in depicting these long lines of diesels standing just waiting... A lot of them got traded back to their manufacturers on newer stock.

SD70's (M/MAC too) got replaced very soon after by the ACe because of the new and very efficient traction control motors in them.
