Hi all,

spent a bit of time on this project again over the weekend.
Fitted the first Led in the loco.
Light in the nose cone, made a small styrene washer to fit into the hole,
drilled two small holes into this to bring the wires from the smd Led through and then
glued the Led to the washer.
Once set I glued it into the cone from behind and got some heat shrink over the fine copper
wires to prevent these from breaking.
Then I glued the two pieces of the nose cone together and made a little circuit board to solder
the wire too.
Also included two Smd resistors for the Led.

The progress that you are making in your train room is awesome Ed. I really think the shelf in front of the window is a brilliant idea. The final result will be amazing. I am hoping that one day I will make my way over there and see it myself.

I've have been spending time on this project.
Slowly and carefully getting the Adler brass coal bunker to fit the Weinert white metal
tender body.
Getting there. 

But then I realized that if I ever need to change the traction tires or do other maintenance it would be a
nightmare. 
So back to the drawing board.
Now I have mounted it directly to the separate outer frame via a small piece of styrene, this allows me to remove the
wheels later to do maintenance. 

That’s just wrong…
