Goodness Jörg, this is absolutely AWESOME.......
I love it !!!!!! One day when I have the time I will build my D51 Steam Loco also all brass and the idea is to re-make some of the parts so it look much more realistic. Mine is just going to be slightly bigger, it's a Scale 1
Will love to see it in action soon, It's going to be a stunning loco with all the bells and wissels, very well done Jörg

but there is still home for me, I still have a D51 Gauge 1 full brass to build, one day......

Yea, sad to say I did not even touch my trains, last time I did and or touched them was our last toyfair.
Doing home stuff and built Mia a play kitchen. That was my holiday gone. Now we have to work again......
But that is life hey......

Your Turn Table is looking absolutely stunning, I love it.
Good idea with the styrine and the plaster. Looks good and seems to work well.
Did you managed to get the piece of tape out?
I would almost go for the full slab and then scribe or cut the slabs once it is almost dry.

Good Morning Jörg,
I wonder....... what if you built a grid out of paper or thin card, then you place that inbetween the track and pour the plaster in each grid square.
Let it set for hour or so and then pull the card out. Then you should get a nice looking edge and no cutting and filing required
Hope this make sense, else I will try to explain better or we can chat on Saturday.

Mmmmmm, think I would do the center full tile and then cut the sides. Might look better when you look into the round house.

Turntable came out very good, looks great.
Oooooo, that is going to be a huge build. I had to kit bash mine as there was so many parts missing and that was a huge task already
