Title: Wolfgang Wodrich
Post by: capeklr on July 09, 2019, 08:18:32 PM
01/02/1935 to 30/06/2019
We have lost a great friend.
A man who lived his life to the full, who did nothing in small measures.
Cars, boats, planes and trains.
Those of us that knew him or had the pleasure to see his layout will know what I mean.
I personally had a long standing friendship with him, for more than six years I drove nearly
every weekend to his house in Rooi Els to help build the layout.
We spoke nearly daily on the phone, I have caught myself picking up my phone in the afternoon
to phone him.
Rest in peace buddy.

A few selected photos from the layout.
Who can spot the mistake in the first picture?
Photos by my wife.

Thank you Jörg.

What an amazing guy. I only knew him for about 3 or 4 years, but it was great.

Me..... Me.... Meeeeee, I know what the mistake is  :howzit: LOL......

Cheers, Evert

Our condolences to the family during this time.

Thanks for the photos, the layout looks spectacular.   And there is nothing wrong in the first photo if you're an Aussie !
