Aloha,
for my 1000th post I thought to myself I should do something naughty. >:D
There's nothing better than being, I mean driving topless.
I have a few models of the Mercedes Benz R107 range 280SL's to 500SL's, but they are all
with their hardtop on and I decided to do something about this.
First photo shows one car still original while the other one has been dismantled and its roof
cut off.
Second photo the offending roof.

Then I cut out all the side and rear windows and carefully glued in the
windscreen again.
Still need to build a bit of a frame around it at the top and paint this in a chrome
color.

While I was at it I applied a bit of paint to the interior, this cars normally have black
dashboards and steering wheels as well as brown or black leather seats.
