LooVille Extention to a L shape....

Good Morning All,

I manage to do a little bit of work on the layout over the weekend 
So I pre-fitted the trestle bridge. It is not permanent yet as I first need to do the landscaping.
Perfect fit 

I also placed the crane, coaling station and bunker in position. Fits nicely and trains fit underneath nicely.

Then, something else....
As my layout is not by my house, I build all my kits and do train maintenance and work at home.
I I took the Factory I bought a while back home on Friday night. Because I bought it second hand it is a already built kit. I wanted it to look better an a bit more real so I repainted it and weathered it.

What a job  ..... But I enjoyed it and after two days of painting it look like this now. 1st pic is the kit as I got it.....
I like it, what do you think? I still have to paint the big factory building.

One thing we still going to add is a smoker for the chimney..... That was my dads idea

I will build the smoker into my control panel and feed the smoke with a thin pipe to the chimney.

Then you will have to ad a pump or fan to get the smoke to flow.
I once fitted a smoker at the bottom of the chimney because I was worried about the heat on the plastic.
It did not work.
Seuthe make an insulated smoker.
I must have a look what I have here, got quite a few lying around.

Good Morning All.....

Right, time for an update.
Things have been a bit slow as I was busy with the video of Wolfgang's Marklin Layout the past few weeks.
What an awesome experience to do that. 

OK, back to my layout.
I managed to finish the hills, river bed and the slopes on the side of the trestle bridge.
I also put the bridge in place so that the cretestone can settle. I'll fit it properly once I'm happy and everything is dried up nicely.

Good Morning All,

One thing I have been waiting for was the Walthers Saw Mill.
I finally received it in the post the other day so now I have a massive project comming 
Quite a big kit.

Once it is built I can finish the track work after the trestle bridge as well as all the foam work where the Saw Mill will go.

Can't wait !!!!!
I'll keep you all updated on the build progress of the kit.
