Hi everybody,
been busy with a few things.
First of all I prepped some parts for the underpass.
The two bigger outside sections and the ten inside supports.
I cut them roughly out of styrene and then stuck them all together
with very thin double sided tape.
Then I carefully filed and sanded the contours.
Then I had to carefully separate them all and clean off the tape which has
turned out to be a time consuming job.

I have also done my planned board to hold all the transformers and boosters.
Not all transformers have been fitted yet, but I think you will get the idea.

Aloha,
another update.
Busy doing the underpass.
Gluing a strip to the supports to make it look like an a T beam.
First photo clamped in my temp jig.
Second photo shows part of a completed one with the strip around the arch.

As I also want to have pedestrian access to the underpass from the platforms
I am busy with the steps down from the said platforms.
Found some old ones from Faller and one slightly wider one from another
manufacturer, but these are to narrow for my liking.

Second photo shows other plain steps which are wider, I think these will work
quite well.
Last photo I placed another set of steps, but these are to wide.

Regarding the steps, I think the 2nd picture. Medium width steps..... Should look very nice.

Good evening,
late night update.
Busy with the steps going down to road level.
First opening through the layout board and loosely holding the steps in position
by hand.
The white styrene sheet is just there for test purposes and will be replaced with
something more suited.

Good evening all,
small update tonight.
Made one side wall for the steps, this is not the final one, just checking
for fit.
Looking for wall material that depicts tiles, these steps in Germany often had
yellow wall tiles so I want to try and recreate this.

Also a bit of progress on the underpass.
All ten supports or T beams are done.
I have also done the "roof" onto which these T beams must now be glued on.
