Good Morning.....

Awesome, I love that river. Really came out so well and the hippo's looks awesome.
Sometimes I miss that kind of detail with n scale.  :(

Can't wait to see it in real life again.
Looking forward to the castle update.  :thumb:

Cheers,

That one hippo came straight from the bibble - walking on water an' all... :peep: :stir:

Hi everybody,
yes I'm still alive although its been very quiet here.
Not much to show, wanted to paint some rails rusty, bought matt rust coloured paint and its shiny.
Have not had a chance to get some other paint some where else.
Now on a different line I have built my first signal kit.
Viessmann makes very nice Light Signals, but also offer them in kit form, cost a few Euro's less.

Here's the mast with the wires pulled through already.

Forgot to take photo's as I was assembling the signal head, but here is a photo
of the signal installed and some wire just connected to the track to show the lights.
Unfortunately my simple little point and shoot camera will not focus on the signal, but rather on
the bigger tunnel portal behind it.  :lamer:
So excuse the out of focus signal.

Been a bit quiet here.
Busy with work and life, then I left my camera behind in Rooi Els when we had to evacuate.
Yesterday I remembered to bring it back with me and took a few photo's of what I've done in the last week.
I have managed to lay some flex track and install the first bridges.
I've painted the track, the sleepers dark brown and the sides of the rails rusty brown.
Now I need to do some ballasting and then complete the tunnel portal.
Some photo's.
Bridge and track.

Hi everybody,
still looking for latex glue so can't secure the tunnel portal yet and do the scenery around that.
Oh well, I'm sure I will find some sooner or later.
Decided to plant some tree's around the castle.
Note the different colour of the castle walls, I'm trying to change it a bit and bring out the stone work.
At the same time weather it a bit as well.
