A nice picture of the heat wave coming out of the smoldering ressitors would have been great. 

However, I am so glad you don't have to buy new signals and that all is sorted. well done.

Hi everybody,
time for a small update.
After a frustrating Easter weekend when I was fault hunting, this week and weekend
I've been able to make some good progress on the electrical system. 
So now all points on the mainline and station as well as signals are operating.
Must still get two signals as I ordered two incorrect ones, but that is a minor detail.
Automatic signal system also nearly functional, I managed to break a few reed switches so
there I'm also waiting for stock.

Good evening all,

I've decided that I've had enough of wires for a while and decided to rectify a fault
on my scenery at the hotel.
My colour had been much to dark, so I mixed up a nice light grey for the rocks and repainted it all.
Then I filled in the front and scribed something that should resemble crazy paving. This does still
need a bit of work. 
Also added a bit of pavement where the bus stops.

Good evening,
after a successful day fault finding and rectifying an electrical fault on a classic car, I'm
now busy on my hotel scene. 
I wanted a bit of a border on top of the wall, so I found some strip styrene.
Photo one.
Photo two I have cut it into 9 mm long pieces.
Note the six separate ones, these i have already filled the sides down a bit.
Photo three shows the first few glued down.

Very nice little detail that will make a huge difference to the scene.

Monday morning update.
I completed the border on the wall.
Photo one.
Then I cut and started gluing on the fence posts.

Good evening,
all the fence posts are up, also did a first coat of paint on the border.

I've also started a border on the other wall by the underpass.
This is a bit wider so I'm going for two tiles next to each other.
Also these tiles are slightly longer and wider.
Each tile needs to be cut and filed on the edges.
