Good Morning All,

My dad did quite a bit of work the past week and managed to put the track on the benchwork  :thumb: (NOT fitted yet, just testing)
He also used the Woodland Scenics inclines I used and it looks awesome. Tunnels, inclines, bridge all works perfectly.

Here is a few pictures.
Next step will be to glue all the inclines on to the base and start to fit the track.

Enjoy, Cheers,
Evert

Good Morning All,

So, it's been quiet for a bit, but my dad was working on the wiring and also filling all the gaps the Woodland Scenics risers make. Most of the feeder wires are in. The wires is soldered to the bottom of the Fish-plates. With Trix track, the Fish-plates clip on, so good option to do that. Tunnels is finished painted as well as the first light is in.

Enjoy the pictures.
Cheers,
Evert

Good Morning All,

Detail is starting to come in and everything is looking stunning.
My dad finished all the tunnel lights and is busy painting a reddish brown earth colour underneath all the track.
Once that is done he will balast. Did the one tunnel section just as a test. Looks quite good I think.

Here is some pictures again.

Cheers,
Evert.

Good Morning All,

So here is a little bit more progress my dad made in the past two weeks or so.
While he was busy with the ballasting of the track inside the tunnels he realized that the point motors that is situated under the track causes a problem for the ballast. If you would glue the ballast you risk damaging the point motor. So I suggested we take the track out and ballast it separately on a piece of plastic. Wow, it worked  :thumb:

Here is some more pictures.
First one is the upside down point motor under the track.
Second one is the track that was ballasted separately.

Cheers,
Evert

Good Morning All,

My dad was very busy with the electrical work the past few weeks, next step is to get the control panel made and all the switches and wiring installed for that.
So all the track and the point motors is done now.
The lights in the tunnels is also done.

Picture 1 is the back of the control panel drawer.

Here is some pictures.
Cheers and speak again.
