Hi All Im the chairman of the live steam club in Parow
Some of our members have been producing some reliable and authentic looking steam outline electric models running on 12v gate batteries.
The cheapest one was sold for R5000 and is a model of a Forney American steam loco.
The photos below show some other models (the black swiss tank being sold for R15000.)
Considering the price of importing HO and N scale locos maybe its time to invest in LARGER stock as I know of N gauge locos costing more than R5000
