Hi everybody,
my next digital conversion is complete.

Märklin rail zeppelin.
The prototype was built in 1929 and designed by a German Aircraft engineer and powered by a 600 hp aircraft engine.
It was built and first shown to the public in the city where I was born, Hannover. Just a bit of useless info.

Originally the Märklin model had the normal three pole AC motor with direction changer and a bridge rectifier for the
second DC motor for the propeller.
The motor was converted to a five pole DC unit, the propeller motor remained unchanged and a Lok Pilot V4 was fitted
with a few vero board to get everything connected.
Front lights where changed to LED.
Rear Led light was also fitted.
I had found a circuit on the net to control the propeller motor via Function 1 from the decoder, but could not get this to
work.
Here's a photo of that circuit.
The resistor is purposefully separate so that I can try to get the best value by trail and error.
