Faller 222137 Coaling Gantry Crane

Good Morning All,

A while back I was looking at Coaling Facilities for my out line from the Turntable. I really liked the Faller one. It is a complete facility and comes with the Gantry Crane and a coaling bunker.

First Picture show the kit.
Second Picture is the one I bought.
I searched and it was way to expensive to buy new, so I ended up buying a 2nd hand one, already built.
Buy, few things missing so I ended up scratch building again  Awesome.

The brick support wall under the facility was missing and I re-painted the control house as well. (still need some work)

Then I was not happy with the cardboard bunker that came with the one I bought, so I built a new one.
All that is left to do is to fill it with some coal.
I think it looks much better.

Good Morning All,

Very small update, as I did not have much time to work last night, but I did manage to sat down for an hour or so.
I cut some styrofoam and shaped it to use as a base for the coal load.
I'll paint it black now and then add some coal on top of that.

I have some real coal dust to glue down there...came from my coal bin in Ireland.

Cool, thanx Ed, but I do have the real thing. I bought Coal dust from Woodland Scenics and it is also actually the real thing. I uses it on two of my Hoppers already and the Coal mine. So I'm sorted
