Not sure where to put this.....

I was going through some of my stuff yesterday and because I keep everything I found this.
The first point I bought from the train shop in Cape Town, when they were in the Golden Acre.

I remember I still went with my grandfarther and we took the train from Bellville to Town.
If I look at the price tag I think it was in November 1999. Wow, look at the price R37.45. Think we payed the R34.05.
The darker blue one is much newer and I bought that one in 2012 somewhere. I payed R135.00
Currently they go for about R277.00 and the packaging is a soft plastic packet.

Make you think hey..... Hectic.....

Nope, like we discussed the ther night - Barry Jackson's was long gone by 1999. That must have been late 80's early 90's.

But at R34.05 I'll take 1000!

Yea, I also sat a bit with my dates. I was still in school, and I did matric in 95.
As far as I can remember my grand mother was still alive and she passed away when I was in Std 7.
So it might even be when I was in primary school...... Very looooong ago
