Sun damage

Hi all,

when the sun shines it's considered a beautiful day.
But beware the sun can also cause damage!
This model stood three years behind a north facing window without curtains.

 Hi all,
A friend "lost" two USA passenger coaches while they were still in their boxes.  When we found them they had fallen behind a small bar fridge and the heat from the back of the fridge had done the same type of damage leaving the coaches beyond repair.

I have seen that happen to a set of metal Walthers container wagons in N scale. Like these https://www.trovestar.com/generic/zoom.php?id=173223

We forgotten in a Wendy house over a warm December holiday. The metal was all twisted. My friend said he's going to model an accident scene with it.

Was it Trainmaster's set? If so, it belonged to me originally.
