Hi guys,
Having spent more time on my back than a prostitute working overtime during fleet week, (not that I have anything against that noble profession), trying to wire turnout motors in place under the layout, I have decided to restore my sanity and toss out all electric turnouts. I have changed to manual push/pull rods with knobs on the fascia. and DPDT switches routing power to the frogs.
I have around 80 point motors for sale, mostly Gaugemaster PM-1's with accessory switches, but also Gaugemaster PM-2's (without accessory switch), and Peco PL-10's. All of them have had the pins cut to various lengths depending on the thickness of the table top where they were mounted, but extension pins can easily be soldered on using brass tube. Wires are pre-soldered to almost all the motors.
Asking R35 per point motor, or R30 each if sold in batches of 10 or more. Items are available in W(H)ellington.
Cheers,
Steve
