I'm busy starting work on the roundhouse now.
Today I started on the first wall, brick sheeting from Faller.
First photo. Marking my cuts.
Second photo. Marking done.
Third photo. Cut out and first two windows cut out as well.

Hi all,
this is very embarrassing that I haven't posted here for so long.
Done little to nothing on the layout, but did spend some very nice hours just letting the trains run.
Also had a very pleasant holiday overseas. Made new friends in far away places.  ;)
In the meantime I repaired my bus, new battery and fitted front and rear lights to it. Sorry forgot to take photos.  ::)
Also got the level crossing working with the help of John. Without him I doubt that I would have gotten the Arduino coding right.
Still needs some fine tuning, but will try and do that soon.

N Scale / US T-trak layout
« Last post by Steve Smith on April 19, 2025, 08:23:45 AM »
Hi all,

Found this T-trak layout planned for a US show later in the year.  It looks as if a full circuit might even be an real time overnight run !

Hi all,
thanks for the positive comments.
I've been spending time on the tender.
First I removed and opened the cast on water hatch.
Then I made a brass ring and prepped the Weinert water hatch with a hinge.
My plan is to have this working with a small servo in the tender.  :)
Then I removed the cast on lights and hand rails.
Replaced with brass parts.
The lights will get individual Led's.
