Aloha,

I've started fitting some of the brass details to the tender.

The progress that you are making in your train room is awesome Ed. I really think the shelf in front of the window is a brilliant idea. The final result will be amazing. I am hoping that one day I will make my way over there and see it myself.

It was great to have you here last weekend Kevin! Took a while but finally you made it to here! Thank you for that!  :thumb:

Hi all,

I've have been spending time on this project.
Slowly and carefully getting the Adler brass coal bunker to fit the Weinert white metal
tender body.
Getting there.  :thumb:

Last but not least I'm considering to fit the etched brass coal bunker from Adler Modellbau to the
Weinert cast white metal tender body.
This coal bunker is lower and looks closer to all the photos that I could find of this loco.
Needs some modifications, but I'm sure that I'll get it to fit.

But then I realized that if I ever need to change the traction tires or do other maintenance it would be a
nightmare.
So back to the drawing board.
Now I have mounted it directly to the separate outer frame via a small piece of styrene, this allows me to remove the
wheels later to do maintenance.

Hi all,

some progress on this loco.
Currently helping a friend with his layout so less time for my own projects.  :)
I finally dismantled the tender completely so that I could figure out how to fit the cast white metal
bogie frames made for Roco to a Fleischmann tender.  ::)
My first idea was to make these plastic mountings with the holes to sick in the bogie frame.
