Clubs / Lego Trains at Pretoria Model Train Club

Lego train enthusiasts in Pretoria area have approached the PMT to incorporate an operational  Lego train display during the PMT quarterly  setups at the school in Waverly. The purpose of this post is to estimate the possible participation in such a display. If you are interested in something like this or are able to participate as a parent or by yourself please let me know. Any suggestions are always welcome because this sounds like a possible first in the RSA.

We are operating a freelance modular setup in HO/OO during school holidays at a Technical High School in Waverley, Pretoria.  We also run a fixed layout at the same locality with operating days once every month. Look at our website www.pretoriamodeltrains.org for more information.

Good evening to all
My name is Dan and am retired. A member of the Pretoria Model Train Club based in Waverley/Villeria, Pretoria and take part in their modular HO/OO scale setup. At present I am the owner of four partly developed 1200x600mm units and run mostly American (USA) and British trains as well as some South African at our meeting.(no home layoyt). More interested in building than running. At present also operating as general repair and maintenance man for the LEGO Train  layout belonging to my two grandsons (5 years old ) !
